Help at Home Mar Menor (HAH)
Help at Home (HAH) provides assistance to people in the Murcia Mar Menor area who are struggling to cope at home. This could include voluntary visitors to help with shopping if you are just out of hospital, home visits to give a regular carer a rest for an hour or two or loan of mobility equipment. Help At Home is a local charity offering a little extra help to those in temporary need – help from volunteers can normally be given within 15km by road from the charity’s shop in Avenida del Ferrocarril, Los Narejos, Los Alcázares.
COVERAGE AREA: Help from volunteers can normally be given within 15km by road from the charity’s shop in Avenida del Ferrocarril, Los Narejos, Los Alcázares on Mar Menor. This includes San Pedro, San Javier and Santiago de la Ribera (but excluding La Manga), as well as the area of Torre Pacheco which is closest to Los Alcázares; covering Mar Menor Golf and Dolores de Pacheco (but not as far as the La Torre Golf area).
The charity cannot offer full-time or long-term care but volunteers will try help where they can. As the charity is totally run by volunteers, at times some services may not be available. Contact your doctor, or ask your local chemist for advice on medication, or telephone the emergency services on 112. Help at Home is unable to help in emergency situations and cannot assist with financial aid. A useful list of local translators and interpreters is provided on the website.
