Age in Spain
Age in Spain helps older English-speaking people and their families who live in or plan to live in Spain. It provides independent, accessible information to help people make informed later-life decisions plus support services for people experiencing practical difficulties that affect their independence.
The Information Service has downloadable infoguides, an online and telephone enquiry service plus a Facebook page with regular information updates and chat facility. The Age in Spain casework service provides one-to-one information and support for people with complex needs. It assesses individuals’ circumstances on behalf of UK charities which can provide financial support for British nationals who live in Spain and it works with a wide range of Spanish and UK organisations to arrange local care packages of support.
Age in Spain’s services are provided by trained volunteers located throughout Spain, who are recruited, trained and supported by a small team of professional staff. Age in Spain is funded through charitable grants and public donations.
