ANAR – child phoneline / teléfono del menor
ANAR provides a Spanish national helpline for children and teenagers who need to talk about their concerns in total confidence. The helpline is also known as the ‘Teléfono del Minor’ (Children’s Helpline) and callers can normally be helped in English, on request, as well as Spanish. There is also a chat facility, to chat online. A caller / chatter does not have to give a name or personal details and will be able to express themselves freely, and if necessary, be advised about what course of action to take. The service is open 24 hours a day.
Advice can be given on problems at home or at school, with bullying online or problems with eating, relationship or identity problems, or any other issue of concern or interest. The team aim to make everybody feel listened to and respected.
The main line to call is (0034) 900 20 20 10. This is for children and young people up to 18 to call. People over 18 who want to discuss any issue related to a child or family can call (0034) 917 26 01 01 or 600 50 51 52 to reach the same team and receive guidance. All calls are confidential.
