Barcelona City Council Residents’ Information (OACs)
For support and help in understanding or accessing council services, Barcelona City council runs a network of one-stop-shop information centres for residents of the city. These are distributed around the urban area. Normally you can carry out processes related to council services or hand in documents for other public administrations as well. These centres are known as OACs (Oficina d’Atenció Ciutadana in Catalan).
To find your nearest OAC centre, click on the link below to see a map and the address. Normally staff can only attend in Spanish or Catalan, however one OAC is able to provide support in several languages, including English. This centre is the ‘Oficina d’Atenció Ciutadana de la plaça Sant Miquel’ on Plaça Sant Miquel, near to Barcelona’s historic town hall in the Barri Gòtic (Gothic Quarter). This centre is open generally from 08:30 to 20:00, Monday to Saturday, with reduced Saturday times in August. Other centre opening times vary.
