CatSalut Respon – 061 – 24hr helpline
061 is a 24 hour central helpline run by the Catalan public heath service (CatSalut). It is not a replacement for the 112 emergency number, but can provide a broad range of advice on health issues that are effecting you or a friend or relative and answer a long list of questions as well about the public health service in general.
061 can provide interpretation services to help answer your question in many languages, including English. As well as the phone line, it is also possible to email and chat with the service instead. They also have 061 Salut Respon application for mobile phones which has access to the call service, video call for sign language and an active chat that allows you to solve health doubts and, where appropriate, communicate online with a consultant.
