On the Balearic Islands there are different publicly funded centres (known as CADs) that can assist residents and tourists with addiction concerns and needs. There is a central coordination department for the islands run by the regional government that can provide more information (see telephone and email details). Some English is normally spoken by helpline staff and at the centres, and if assistance is not immediately available in English, staff will do their best to find somebody who can help.
On Mallorca there are 10 centres according to where a user is living or staying. Contact the helpline. (In Calvia for example the centre is in the Palmanova Na Burgesa Health centre). On Menorca there is a centre in Mahon and Ciudadela and one in Ibiza Town. (The website link provided on this page is to a national government website that most neatly lists the different centre addresses but that is not the website for the centres themselves and so data could change. The central helpline and email address can also provide extra information).
