DEMA – Gender violence
DEMA is a service to help women in need that feel vulnerable or threatened. It is available in different languages and by calling the 112 emergency number where you will be put through to trained staff. The service is run by the Canary Islands government and is confidential. The service can help you see a doctor and go with you to an immediate medical appointment, help you get legal advice, be by your side as needed and give you somewhere safe to stay.
