Javea Computer Club helps its members, including those from the foreign resident community, in English with all their admin needs that now are done digitally. Therefore they can help members with translating and understanding documents and processes that are carried out over the computer.

For example, advising members how to obtain and install digital certificates and assist people to use them to access medical records, town hall services etc. The club shows people how to use their phones or other devices for online payments and banking plus how to keep safe when doing all this.

Membership is through a very modest annual fee, details of which are on their website. The club operates as a non-profit association and supports local charities as well.

The club also helps members print any documents they need at cost and enables them to download, print, sign and scan documents that have to be sent electronically – including those needed to maintain UK Pensions.

The club runs an on-line E-mail forum (jcc-helpline) where members can ask computer related questions.
