Malaga Acoge
Malaga Acoge is a non-profit organisation that helps the integration of immigrants in Malaga province area including the Costa del Sol. It provides guidence, information and different activities free of charge. This includes advice on particularly tricky immigration and residency issues for foreigners at risk of vulnerability. There are four centres in Malaga province: Malaga city, Fuengirola (for the western Costa), Torre del Mar (for the eastern Costa) and Antequera for inland.
The organisation provides help in different areas which include: psychological assistance, judicial assistance, training courses, community intervention, volunteers and social support. It provides Spanish lessons for all levels during the year and it also guides on legal or documentation issues. Some staff are able to speak English but if legal assistance is needed a translator should be provided by the person.
