Misión Cristiana Moderna (MCM) operates a meal service in conjunction with local government (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and also an overnight shelter for men and women in Puerto del Rosario for temporary stays generally up to ten days (non-faith based). There is also a separate, socio-religious based residential house for men only. A bus also visits the main towns on the island once a week to offer a chance to shower, get clean clothes and some basic food for those in need.
