Paul Cunningham Nurses
A charity offering quality care in the home for patients with a terminal prognosis. The service is free of charge subject to an assessment. They also hold stocks of equipment such as adapted beds, wheelchairs and pressure mattresses. The charity provides access to medical advice and liaises with the Costa Blanca Palliative Care team.
The nurses work in a similar way to MacMillan and are not just for terminal cancer patients but cover any terminal illness.
Coverage area and additional information
The organisation is based on the southern Costa Blanca and south of Alicante province and has charity fundraising shops in Quesada, Playa Flamenca (Orihuela Costa) and Almoradi.
