Vega Baja Acoge
Vega Baja Acoge is a non-profit organisation that helps the integration of inmigrants in the area of Vega Baja (south Alicante province inland from Torrevieja). It provides guidence, information and different activities free of charge. It is located in Orihuela city, 30km inland from the coast and coastal resorts.
It provides help in different areas which include: psychological assistance, judicial assistance, training courses, community intervention, volunteers and social support. It provides Spanish lessons for all levels during all year and it also guides with legal or documentation issues. Some staff are able to speak English but if legal assitance is needed a translator should be provided by the person. It is located in Orihuela city, 30km inland from the coast.
